Some of you younger guys may have never heard this but when I was growing up men wore a rose in their lapel on mothers day. Red, if she was still alive and white if not. This will be my 4th year to wear white and several men at my church still wear a rose, mostly white. Do any of you guys still do this? For those of you whose mother is still alive I hope you make a point to talk to her tomorrow and thank her for all she has done for you. Even if you don't get along you can at least thank her for not having an abortion.
