First of all we have to be careful here and not push too hard. By all accounts he and his family like Wichita and if we anger him I doubt he would be all that opposed to staying another year.
By all accounts we have made a big offer and WSU is now in the process of working up a counter. They probably can't get close to ours and we are reportedly tweaking ours as well. We knew WSU would make a pitch to keep him so that is not unexpected.
I think what to look for now is a visit by Marshall and family. It's rumored that is in the works and will take place very soon. If the visit happens then imo we've got him.
