Nate Oats leaves door open for possible Jahvon Quinerly return next season

This won't be popular but I think it's time to move on without Q.
I’m kind of indifferent about it honestly. He can be great at times and at times he will give it up quicker than a 2 dollar whore on prom night.

I keep thinking with all the experience he has he would stop the careless TO but he still have games where he throwing it away at an alarming rate.

So if he comes back, cool because he’s a talented super senior. If he doesn’t, cool because Bama is recruiting at a high level.

if fully engaged JQ shows up it’s all great but sometimes this year he gives the impression of not being engaged. He is an asset nonetheless.

Everyone always talks about the obvious which is his turnovers & scoring ability but what I always notice is ability to allow the other guy with the ball get past him that allows the other team to score the majority of the time.

Pretty much how I feel. It's amazing today he drives with a purpose and makes shots. Other times he just goes and throws something up for prayers. He never stops and let's the D blow by or pump fakes to get the D in the air for a foul. He had 2 turnovers today that he went to pass and they go straight up. With someone that can dribble as good as he can that should never really happen. Just to inconsistent and that hasn't changed in 2 years. Ready to see who can take that spot as a young player and grow into a great player hopefully.
