Nate Oats Sunday praise

Report! As tough as I've been on the team and lack of toughness and effort at times this year, ive never yelled for Oats to be replaced! The reason for that is he's proved ge can win with great effort/shooting teams and immature/inconsistent teams! There were multiple times this season where we could have folded, but he kept looking to find a spark anywhere he could! We've had teams just like this with Avery or Grant coaching that we could only scrape out 14 wins and had noooooo chance against great teams! Just the amount of wins this year against Top 10 teams earned Coach Oats a new contract!💪💪🏿💪🏽

Agreed but a more judious use of TOs would be nice. When USC was making its big run in the second half CNO took way too long to call a TO to break their momentum.

Oats isn’t the greatest coach if all time, but if you aren’t thrilled with where we are you’re insane. I absolutely believe he can bring us a final four and national championship. He’s got a system guys want to come play in, he’s recruiting at a very high level, and we can score with anybody. I think we will have a team with elite shooters and defenders one of these years and will be a legit title contender

He doesn't strike me as complacent but rather very hungry which is good considering he was coaching high school like 7 years ago. No way is he a finished product as a coach.
