I believe that the AP and Coaches poll come out today at around noon, so I would say no to it being the official ranking, but I know many including myself really respect this ESPN power rankings.

Frightening. I can't stand waiting to see where we are a month from now. Having been a fan for 60 years of BB I keep waiting for a letdown. I hope this team has not peaked yet. RTR

I really like being in the top 5 of these polls, but I don't care if we are #1 or #5. Later in the season it may be more critical, but not now with so many more games to be played.

You would think this team would have a short term slump if only from emotional fatigue. Really tough dealing w/The Darius stuff w/two tough game right after. They did well but they almost have to have a spot where they just sort of exhale for a couple days/games and then say "OK lets finish". Takes a mature team of ironmen not to hit the clutch for a bit.
