Missouri fell into the 4 seed so Tennessee has to win 2 before us. The bracket sets up nicely for us. Todays game doesn't affect us any, especially since Kansas was blown out as far as number 1 overall seed. Time to rest and regroup. I have faith in this team. They have had a lot on them the last couple weeks. We will be fine. Looking forward to tournament time.

Agree-really thought they were gonna pull it out yesterday as did the announcer Jay Wright. Bad call on Miller trying to get the charge, even after Miller fouled out had a chance. Tough play on Sears . Hope boys get their legs under.

All of the bad calls, this and that, distractions, etc., gets washed away if bama shoots better than 25/116 from the 3 point line the last 4 games.

If bama shoots its average of 34% from the three pt line, that’s an additional 14 (3 pointers) in these games, or 42 additional points. Big difference.

Better starts… better shooting from 3, better defensive effort from everyone

If we are going to make a run, we have to cut down on turnovers (play in control), stop the reach in and other silly fouls and shoot the ball the way they are capable of. I know we can do it, just need the focus.
I am very proud to win the SEC regular season for sure. Now the new part of the season in tournament play begins and off nights will cost us dearly. For the SEC tourney, there is no team in the SEC we can't handle. Looking forward to the post season.
Roll Tide!

I think the shots will start to fall when we get our legs under us. I would rather lose Saturday and get the bad mojo out of the way.

I wish we could just have Oats take the team somewhere for a few days as far from T-Town and distractions as they can get and still have access to training equipment and a gym. You can't do something now the way a team might have been able to 30 years or so ago but I hope we do what we can here. Cancel a practice or two and just use some of the high tech recovery stuff the football team has access to.

I overheard someone over the weekend talking like they expected Bama to have some ugly exits in both tournaments if Oats can't get the teams body and mind right. He attributed all of the recent shooting problems and bad fouls of the last three weeks to a team that's just flat worn out physically and mentally. He actually thought along the same lines that the best thing for their NCAA hopes would be a one and done in Nashville with a lot of teaching moments and being dropped to a low 2 seed as far from the south as they can get. Then just go play ball far from all the noise around here.

Id prefer to be in bham and Louisville. Idk if that scenario of being a low 2 seed gets us there. If it does, and all that would help, let’s go.
