Make Saban the Head Coach for $3MM, and let him pick a staff (make Philip Pearson Head of Staff and pay him a $1MM) I'm joking, but MAYBE I'm really not. We got to think outside the box folks.
Its like Rupp and Bryant... I don't think ANY Bigtime BBall coach wants to compete with Saban on Campus.
If you want to put fans in the stands and add some intensity and get better athletes, why not piggyback the biggest POWER BROKER IN SPORTS.
I don't care if he makes every game or not, I don't care if he spends 15 minutes a day on hoops, make him the Head Coach and shit will change.
At this point, what in F#*K do we have to lose guys... he would at least give some life back to what I see as program drifting into no-mans land
He's gonna be the AD one day, so you might as well give him the ropes now... and we would get more 2-sports athletes.
