I realize I don't have all the answers but being a long time Alabama basketball fan, I will tell you we must hire someone who can recruit this whole region( not only Alabama). We must hire someone who can excite the fan base and promote and market the program. There are many coaches who can coach but few that can recruit and promote at the University of Alabama. This is such a important hire and if Coach Grant could have recruited better and promoted the program he would still be there. Never Howland or Prohm can recruit well enough or create a sense of excitement that the program needs now at the University..We need to go as hard as possible at Marshall,Smart,or Stevens. If we fail we go to the next level.
