this is the 2nd thread i have started with this title in the short time i have been on here, but i will repeat myself

gritty hard fought win. give 10 r c credit. they played the hell out of us

when you are watching this bunch you just always feel like they have a chance to come back and win. even when they are way down.

great sr leadership, plus Q, shack, ellis, and others are all winners

roll tide

That’s why you got to love this team. They are crazy good and fun to watch. Who would thought this would happen 2 years ago? I am probably the biggest sunshine pumper on the board, and I just wanted to see what Oats system would do if played it fully for a season. I am glad it is working.

Quinerly kept them in it today. He is playing amazing basketball - and so confident.

Having Q and Bruner back healthy and confident makes Bama a much more complete team...Primo being out is a loss for sure because he is a dangerous secondary scorer with great length for his position (projected #11 pick in 2022 draft by NBAdraft.net)...hope he gets healthy quick.

I know he is just a freshman, and I am not saying Primo doesn’t have talent or potential, but nothing in his game the past month+ has shown me he is about to be a lottery pick next year. Hope he shows that talent and fulfills that potential so it happens, since we will all be winners if he does.

What I love about this team is the attitude players have taken concerning Defense. It has become a personal challenge for Petty, Jones, Ellis and others to want to personally guard an opponent who's hot so they can shut them down. Bravo Bama!

Now what I'm waiting for is for CNO to insert Darius Miles in a game when the offense goes stagnant. Miles is a graceful gazelle and appears to be able to create and I would love for CNO to run some Iso's for him when they are struggling offensively.
[Yes I know Miles needs to get his D down]

Granted Miles need more opportunities and experience, but right now he's not needed that badly because JQ is operating like a surgeon. IMO he was trying too hard to make something happen the last time he got on the floor. He'll learn patience and will become a smooth operator like JQ.

agree with you both on all points

lot of talent on this team from top to bottom. tchichou will be back next year. i really like ambrose-hilton for the future. as ya;ll said miles will be very good. we have some nice recruits coming in. we will miss our 4 seniors for sure, but i think our future is bright.

Agreed. We just have to give next year's squad time to gel and become a team that knows each other's tendencies.
