Noah Clowney Declares for NBA Draft

Well, we had two Noah's this past season to help keep us on the straight and narrow. Could there possible be a Moses or two in the portal for this coming season.

Is this w/ the option of returning depending on his status or this is done?

Everyone said the same thing back in 2021 and behold it happened again 2 years later! That’s why you play the games.
Losing to an 11 seed UCLA was disappointing but I didn’t believe that Bama team could beat several teams left in the field. Michigan, Baylor, Gonzaga, and I believe Houston were teams that were still alive that I though Bama would have a tough time beating. This year only UCONN is left that I don’t believe Bama can beat if both teams play their A games.

Alabama would’ve beaten Michigan pretty easily. All I’m saying is you never know what will happen during a season or tournament. This years team was thought to only win 22 or so games and hopefully finish in the top 4 of the SEC.

We disagree about Michigan, but you’re right about you never know what will happen. I’m crossing my fingers for a Peyton Manning situation in both football and basketball.

Where UT had their best player in schools history and couldn’t win a championship, yet the year after he leaves Tee Martin of all people takes them to a NC.

We may not be better next year but we should be OK. I hope we get more quickness at the guard position and find some 3rd and 4th year muscle at the 4 in the transfer portal. We have enough experience returning to make us competitive too

They couldn’t score 50 on UCLA so I think we would have.

FAU has never won a tournament game before yet made the final four. It’s what makes college basketball so great!

Depending on how the portal turns out I see them as a top 25 team most of the year and likely a 5-6 seed. They’ll be better than the 2021-22 year.

If we can get the shooters to surround our frontcourt I think we can be really good. I’m incredibly bullish on the Chuck/Pringle duo for next year.

I don’t know how anyone can make any predictions on our team next year, when we have little idea how the roster will look, or how the 4 freshmen will perform. Is Clowney, JQ, or Bediako coming back? Only 1 of them? Or 2? Which one or two? It is all guesses. Is Bradley, or anyone else leaving? Who do we get out of the portal? With that said, it is laughable to think our team will be even close to as good as this past year. This was Bama’s greatest chance at a NC than they have ever had in the 40 years I have watched them, and it is not even close. We will be beyond very fortunate to ever have as good an opportunity again in the remainder of my lifetime. That said, with the transfer portals, the one and dones, etc, teams are a mystery from one year to the next, and as we’ve seen with this year’s tournament, the regular season, as long as you make it into the tournament, is practically meaningless. Worrying about winning certain games in the regular season, or whether it will affect seeding, means almost nothing. It only matters how you play in the tournament, as long as you get in. Sorry, that is just how I see it, but I have never been more disappointed about a Bama loss than in this year’s tournament. I honestly wonder if I will ever get past it.

Well, the NCAA is now seriously considering expanding the tourney from 68 to 96 teams because they feel there now so much parity they don't want to leave anyone out.

I've always thought the top 12 should get a bye while the rest of the field plays it's way down to 4 to create the sweet 16.

If they did that I don't care how many teams are in.

Like everything else the NCAA decides to expand, it has nothing to do with parity and everything to do with money.

Money and the mentality nowadays of not wanting to leave out anyone
