I wish we could all just laugh at each other like that and not get our feelings hurt.
I remember the first time I saw Bird on TV in college. After I heard all the talk and read all the press, I thought this is one special BB player.
As the game began on TV I said to myself, the announcer must be confused, the guy he keeps referring to as Bird looks like he's going to trip over the painted lines on the court, he looks so awkward.
Well my original thought was correct 'he was special' and I learned to enjoy his game over the next 10-12 years.
