My thoughts written out

1. Impact of losing Jaylen Waddle

- Out for what could be remainder of the season
- 2nd on team in total yards gained with 621 after Najee Harris who has 742
- Will he come back in 2021?
- Who will step up in his place: Slade Bolden had 6 receptions for 94-yards, dropped TD

2. Continued flex by Mac Jones
115 of 146 passing
78%
1,905-yards
12 TDS/2 Ints
Overall efficiency is key to continued success

3. Where is the pass rush
- 1 QB hurry last night from Brian Branch
- 0 QB sacks
- Barmore was doubled
- LaBryan Ray out
- What is going on here?

4. Defense was beaten over the top
- Battle got smoked
- Surtain got beat
- D. Wright got beat
- A better QB will expose Bama
- No pass rush contributes to this

5. Freshmen report
- Malachi Moore is the truth, good in coverage, plays opportunistic, 2 ints, 1 FF, 1 Fumble for a TD
- Another sample of Bryce Young, 3 of 5, two good passes to John Metchie
- RS Freshman Trey Sanders looked better, 7 carries for 39-yards, longest of 20-yards
- Drew Sanders changed number from 16 to 20, played well on special teams
- Brian Branch getting PT, missed a sure INT, missed a few opportunities

6. Kicking game
- Will Reichard is 6 of 6 with a long of 52
- 32 of 32 on PATS
- Charlie Scott was new punter, 2 for 69-yards, average of 34.5

7. Najee’s campaign
- 20-carries for 97-yards against Tennessee
- 31 carries for 151-yards against UGA
- 51 carries over the last two games
- 742 all purpose yards
- 585-yards rushing with 14 TDS
- 5.8 average per carry
