Coach Saban made a big mistake three years ago and it cost Alabama. After Steve Sarkasian left, Coach Saban made two bad hires in an Offensive line coach and an offensive coordinator. He probably cost Alabama two shots at a National Title, and he almost won one inspite of the two Coaches. Those two are gone and I am already impressed by the new OC. Being a former QB (him not me), I thought he would be pass happy; however, it is apparent from observation that he believes it all starts with the Offensive Line. Get ready fellows; because, you are getting ready to see nasty. If this Offensive line gets pushed around, you are going to see the National Champions do it, because no one else will. There is a new attitude on the O-Line and it appears to be pure nasty.
Proctor, Booker, McLaughlin, Dalcourt and Latham just might be the best OLine that Alabama has had since 2012. I see a real problem that opposing teams will have is that to bring heat they will have to outnumber this unit. If you bring six and you don't get to Milroe, the athletic ability of our QB is second to none. On read options there are going to be holes for the running backs. I just wish Gibbs had been able to go behind this line. Mark it down, if they stay healthy, we have a goodie.
