I've been preoccupied the last two weeks with some family drama as my stepfather who is 83 was injured in a car accident backing out of the driveway of his house. That sent him on a sudden downward spiral and led to both a shattered hip and sudden very serious dementia and sundowning. My mom is 77 and in okay health and I've been driving up to their place to help her about 90 minutes each way from my house. My stepfather is now in a nursing home and will never leave that.

I'm just curious if anyone has some advice on what I should do next. My mom is willing to move down to where I live once he passes away, but I'm trying to figure out what else I can do to help her.

I know we have some experienced users on here who might be able to offer some suggestions.

Thanks,

KQ
