Hoover, Alabama
Include the worst 4 teams in the conference (Georgia, South Carolina, Texas A & M, Vanderbilt), 4 teams that we have already defeated (Arkansas, the boogs, LSU, and Mississippi State), and Missouri. We couldn't ask for a much more favorable slate to close out the regular season. The last 2 games have been a little concerning, however. We shot below 40% from the field in both contests, and reverted to our pre winning streak offensive deficiencies. Which team is the real Alabama? The one that struggled in the first 7 and the last 2 games, or the one that reeled off a 10 game winning streak in between? We may start to find out the answer to that question tomorrow night. If we can get back in sync offensively we should run away with the SEC regular season title.

I think it’s a Wednesday night game this week.

Of course some of our drop off recently has to be our injury situation, but a large part has to do
with JQ"s struggles. I dont know if the COVID has got him playing catch up or he has lost confidence,
but he has to get back to where he was playing. I really believe he is the key to the rest of our year.
His penetration and kick and his shooting open it up for everyone else. We really need him

Dead on

I still think we go undefeated in conference. If JQ can figure it out again or Herb heals up, I think we win out. It will be interesting to see how we do against LSU. I am going to put my neck out and say Petty lights them up again. I think he hits 7 3s.

Need to beat LSU at home. Can’t beat them on the road by 30 and then lose at home and there not be an issue with the direction of the squad.

February has been brutal to Bama basketball since AJ started his tenure.

Luckily we all know Oats has corrected the culture.

I am saying not this year. I think the team has great leadership which it hasn't always had.

He's definitely the key to any successful run in the tournament. To survive and advance you have to have great guard play, especially from your PG position. Prior to his COVID absence he had shown some promise, but just lacks consistency and confidence. Hopefully he can get things turned around in the final stretch of the conference schedule.

I hope you're right, but I think we drop at least 1 against MSU, Mizzou, or aTm. 18-0 in conference is ridiculously difficult no matter how good you are.

Going undefeated in conference is virtually impossible. Much better teams than this Alabama team have not done that. 15-3 is my prediction.

I would like to see JQ start instead of coming off the bench... see if that can jump start him and build his confidence

He has said he likes coming off the bench. If Herb's injury has not gotten any better, then I agree.

Even though we haven't been burning the nets from beyond the arc the past few games it's good to see that we find other ways to win games. We've all seen in previous years where we would have huge leads in the second half and, when teams would start to chip away, you'd get that "here we go again" feeling and, more times than not, we would end up losing those games.
