I am beginning to feel a little uneasy about the timing and plan for the firing and new basketball coach. I think the University needs to let Pettway know he will be retained and let him calm the storm with the players and recruits.Its easy to say, "let
them all go,"but a new coach needs to have some ground work to start with. Pettway will help with the transition and he already has a foot in many recruit's doors.If the new coach doesn't have a foundation it will take him three years to be competitive.Why not try to do all you can do to help the new person. I hope people show up tomorrow night and I hope we have a strong foudation for the new guy to build on.
