After having watched a couple of Vol games so far, I think they’re gonna beat us like a rented mule. They’re relentless on defense and on the glass, and simply just choke the life out of you. I think they’re far and away the best team in the SEC right now. I just don’t see how we even keep it close and wanted to get some thoughts on the following props:

1) Do we finish the game with more rebounds or turnovers? I think we’ll have a difficult time reaching 20 rebounds, and could easily see them forcing more than 20 turnovers by us. This one is a push for me.
2) Will this game be closer than our Rose Bowl game against Notre Dame? I think the Irish will probably score somewhere around 30 points and will control the ball enough to keep us from covering the spread. I see the Vols beating us by at least 20, so I’ll go with the football game being closer.

I’m just glad that I’ve already made a “date” with my 8 year old granddaughter for dinner and the zoo on Saturday so I won’t even be tempted to watch the game.

I certainly hope our guys prove me wrong.

If I had to put money on it I'd say Bama will be lucky to keep it within 15. However, this is one of those games where limited attendance could play a role. If, and that's a huge if, Bama were to come out on fire it could be tough to cool them off. Hard to imagine though with what Clemson and Stanford were able to do defensively.

I remember CAJ's final year, we were huge underdogs there and nearly won the game. Hoping for a great performance tomorrow.

Basketball is a crazy game which is why I love it. The 3 is the great equalizer. Who knows, maybe our shots finally start falling. Bama has matched up well with TN in the past. If we play as good of defense as we did against Ole Miss, we at least have a chance. I don’t concede till the game is over.

The only way we can hang is with good shooting and making some FTs. I don't understand why Oats doesn't utilize the full-court press intermittently. I would also go with the 2-1-2 zone, which may help with rebounding.
By the way, nice call on the ND game. It basically went down as you said, point spread no covered and ND controlled the clock with long drives.

Unless Bama hits 20 3’s this game will not be remotely close. Gonna be pretty ugly.

Maybe this should be our new style. I know that there's usually great expectations. And those get crushed. Takeaway here is to be as pessimistic as possible and good things may come our way. I saw one optimistic post in there, but the negativity was enough to keep that jinx at bay. Thanks for getting it done fellas.

Not sure what you're talking about but we suck and doubt we ever win again.
