When was the last time you watched Bama's A-day game and came away thinking the QB position looked especially strong? They are going against a very good D, have a very limited offensive playbook so the D knows what to look for, and the D only has to touch them to kill the play. Heck, the poor 2nd team QB's were going against a D that is almost as good as the1st team, but without a 1st team O-line protecting them. I too was a bit disappointed that the QB's struggled so much, but they always seem to in these inter-squad games, at least the way Coach Saban sets it up. Very impressed with our D though. So many good players on that side of the ball I see most QB's we face having a difficult time.
