Question about rules

Seems like a couple of years ago officials really cracked down on "arm bars". I noticed last night the aubie point guard consistently used an arm bar on his off arm. Is that rule just not a point of emphasis any longer?

Seems like a couple of years ago officials really cracked down on "arm bars". I noticed last night the aubie point guard consistently used an arm bar on his off arm. Is that rule just not a point of emphasis any longer?

They made a couple of arm bar calls, but for the most part, no call. Aubie's PG would have fouled out if they had called the foul.

The worst part about the game of basketball is how it’s officiated. I don’t think it’s solvable it’s just the nature of the sport. You just have to accept that officiated will be different game to game and often times half to half and pretty regularly it’s officiated differently possession to possession in the home teams favor as bball refs get caught up in the momentum of the home team.
