Southern Miss 14 Alabama 63 -- there was definite improvement on both sides of the ball. Let's hope it continues this weekend against the Rebs
West Virginia 13 Oklahoma 16 -- the Mountaineers squandered an opportunity for a big upset by mishandling a snap on the game wining drive. Sooner QB Spencer Rattler was his usual over-hyped self
Texas A&M 10 Arkansas 20 -- Aggie QB Zach Calzada finished the day with a 29.9 QBR, which should tell you everything you need to know about the A&M offense
Clemson 21 N.C. State 27 -- Clemson QB DJ Ukulele has failed to generate a QBR higher than 51 in all four games this season…yikes!
Notre Dame 41 Wisconsin 13 -- the Irish are not the 12th best team in the country
Iowa St 29 Baylor 31 -- the Cyclones are (way) overrated?
Rutgers 13 Michigan 20 -- Rutgers held the vaunted Wolverine rushing game to only 112 yards (2.9 yds per carry). Can you say blueprint for future opponents?
N. Carolina 22 Georgia Tech 45 -- the Tar Heels rushed for only 63 yards…against Georgia Tech!!
Georgia State 24 Barn 34 -- more Jordan Hare voodoo but this time it was provided by the refs. Unbelievable.
Kansas St. 20 Oklahoma State 31 -- don't look now but the Pokes are 4-0. Watch out for the Wildcats against the Sooners this weekend ;)
LSU 28 Mississippi St 25 -- in its three P5 games this season the Tigers have generated rushing totals of only 63, 84 and 49 yards
Bowling Green 14 Minnesota 10 -- the Ohio State victory over the Gophers no longer has the look of a quality win
Texas Tech 35 Texas 70 -- Longhorn freshman WR Xavier Worthy had 100 yards receiving and 3 TDs. This kid was my favorite WR prospect in the 2021 class and the Tide came oh so close to landing his signature :(
Illinois 9 Purdue 14 -- has anyone else noticed how bad ex-Michigan QB Brandon Peters has been for the Illini this season?
Kent State 16 Maryland 37 -- Taulia T. has been solid all season against virtually no one. Up next…the Iowa Hawkeyes. Will his production fall off against better competition like big bro (sorry, but true)?
Louisville 31 FSU 23 -- the Noles are now 0-4 for the first time since 1974. Um, that's 47 years in case you're not good at quick math
Oregon State 45 USC 27 -- the Clay Helton experiment will set back the Trojan program for years to come
