Reading between the lines here, but looks to me it has to be COVID
I was thinking the same, smart to keep it from the public. He would have people saying they should shut the whole team done for two weeks. With the way this team is playing right now, two weeks would ruin the hot streak they are on.

Yea I agree with that but if he does have COVID, wouldn’t it be the smart and responsible thing to shut the whole team down? I mean if he’s got it, he’s definitely been in close contact with damn near everyone on the team?

It doesn’t spread as easily as people really think. I had it, and my oldest had it. My wife and youngest child never got it. We didn’t quarantine from one another either because we just wanted to get it over with.

It really doesn’t. I was around my wife grandpa touching and helping him around the house. He tested positive and I tested negative.

Avoided it for a year. Never wore masks. Didnt wash hands any more than normal. Didn’t try and get close to people either but would go out to eat some and a bar here and there. Been in crowds outside a lot. Shake hands when offered. The week before Christmas when I contracted it I may have been within 6 feet of only 2 people.(other than wife and few family-none who had it). The 2 people never showed symptoms either. It is a strange virus. My doctor and several in his office got it same week. They always protect themselves. Or at least they follow the rules.

I got married. 100 people there no problem. Have flown three different places as well. No problem.

As often as they're tested we'd already know if someone else on the team had gotten it

I may be wrong, but thought I read somewhere that majority of the basketball had it over the summer. Including CNO.
