I always bring him and Roy Rogers up when posters talk about getting rid of a player who hasn't developed as fast as they would hope. There is something to having players who stick around your program for 3-4 years and work their ass off to play for you. But now we just toss them to the side if they are not major contributors year one.

He was one of those kids that I have to wonder what a coach like Wimp could have done with him. IMO he would have been a monster playing for a Wimp or a 90s era Huggins or even Nolan Richardson. Crazy athletic and he developed into a good enough shooter for the college game.

A lot of us forget how good he was his senior season. If he had any supporting cast around him it could’ve been a good team. He was unstoppable.
