his high school coach jack doss was buck johnson`s coach at hayes in birmingham, trevor lacy`s coach at butler, and john petty`s coach at mae jemison. he has won 10 state championships in alabama. he now coaches at grissom.

a few years back, i heard his name come up for the alabama job.
