I thought he was done for the year. Gives us another big body that isn’t scored to foul and shoot.
He didn’t provide much last year other than fouls and turnovers. I certainly don’t see that changing, especially if he hasn’t practiced since his injury. When he was still on the roster after the spring I took that as a sign he would log minutes at some point this season. With that said it's hard to imagine him providing a whole lot down the stretch if he hasn't done "anything" in the gym yet.
I agree. I really thought he would have been encouraged to look elsewhere at the end of last season. He didn’t provide much last year other than fouls and turnovers. I certainly don’t see that changing, especially if he hasn’t practiced since his injury.
If Rojas is the missing link… ooof. I think our team is fine. Don’t need to add 3 turnovers per minute to the mixHe's gone from the whipping boy to maybe the missing link. This team really needs a linebacker or two to stand our ground in the paint.
If we think Rojas is the missing link we need to re-evaluate what it is that we’re looking for. He's gone from the whipping boy to maybe the missing link. This team really needs a linebacker or two to stand our ground in the paint.
He, obviously, changed that when he couldn’t find a big who could shot a 3. Juwan Gary must not have got the new memo.I thought that Oats' strategy was to play without a big unless he could shoot a three. Am I wrong about that?
I know, it's sad. What we're looking for is defense and rebounds. We're better offensively without herb, but we miss his ability to guard and go to the glass against power forwards. There's some void there. If we think Rojas is the missing link we need to re-evaluate what it is that we’re looking for.
