l know word was we were not pushing real hard for him, but word is this is the reason. First off l know we buy players with NIL offers just like everybody else, so let me be clear l'm not whining because of that. The reason we were not pushing much for Ross is he had made it clear up front he wanted more than Alabama was willing to give. We made him an offer, but pretty much knew we had no chance. Hate like hell to lose a player of his caliber from B'ham to Tenn.
