Just a thought/question for any of you that would know the rule(s). If a punter runs to either side of punt formation to execute a rugby-style punt, and a defender attempting to block the kick runs into the punter, will he get called for roughing or running into the kicker? Although there may be a rule with no exceptions, my way of looking at it is that the punter is a potential runner when he leaves the traditional punt formation and should be treated as such.
