every bama fan from 9 to 90 knows that derrick henry and kenyon drake (if healthy) are gonna be our one-two punch this year. i believe henry has the makings of a potential all-american and drake is as explosive as any back saban has ever had at bama. drakes ball control issues seemed to have been mostly solved last year before his injury .with the departure of tyren jones and altee tenpenny however there is a big question mark as to who steps in if one or both these guys get injured.
bo seemed to be who every body thought would be our third guy before his injury, but he is pretty much an unknown right now. coach saban has said that he hopes to have him back, but you can not say that for sure and if he is back it is a unknown as to how effective he will be.
now harris appears to be a back who could end up being a guy like mark, trent, and t.j.. as far as stepping in and playing as a freshman. you can never be sure about a freshman however until he gets here and shows what he can do at the college level
d. flowers is better than many think in my opinion, but he was hurt much of his sr year in high school and i was really looking forward to seeing him at a-day. of course he got hurt on his first carry.
i believe ronnie clark will move to h-back if we get some folks heathy
i will sum this up by saying henry and drake can be as good as any of our other 1-2 punches have been if they stay healthy. they are different types from some of the others we have had and different from each other, but they can be a great 1-2 punch. if either of them miss a long period of playing time however this position is a mystery
