Would you like to be the person that had to go to Saban and tell him he needed to do this?Exactly. PR stunt.
Oh hell naw. You know he was less than pleased.Would you like to be the person that had to go to Saban and tell him he needed to do this?
I doubt it seriously.Exactly. PR stunt.
If it is, it’s about time the Ath dept coordinated something positive for their programs after all the missteps.Exactly. PR stunt.
Actually we don't know he wasn't there of his on choice.. I have only met him a few times but seems like a nice guy even though he never had much to say. I don't think he ever does anything he doesn't want to do.
Totally agree with you guys. l will never believe Coach Saban was taking a shot at Coach Oates and l will never believe he would be involved in a staged stunt.Xcop is right, Saban will not do what he doesn't want to do. If it was a publicity stunt then he would have the PR guys write something up. He attended several Basketball games in Coleman this year and you can bet he will be tuned in to the TV when we play Friday and hopefully Sunday. I am sure the players appreciated him coming out and talking to them
The whole National and local media said he did so you know there was pressure from the PR standpoint. It’s just not surprising for him to make an appearance considering they want to keep the players loose and he’s on campus.Nobody said he took a shot at OATS. And nobody said he even knew anybody made a deal of it. But the Bama PR people knew. Bama has taken a beating lately. There’s probably something to this. I know coaches. Coaches aren’t going to change things up at this point in the season. Oats isn’t looking for anything new right now.
