As uncomfortable as the idea may be, there will come a day when Nick Saban is no longer the head coach at Alabama. In my opinion, he will not leave for the NFL or another "big" school. He will either retire, or decide he wants to keep coaching, but with less external pressure and take a job at a small school (North Alabama, for instance).
That being said, up here in Kentucky I get asked about it a lot. Often the question is "when Saban retires, do you think Alabama will go after Dabo Swinney?" My usual response is "Yes". But, let me put it to you: Do you think I am right?
Just for full disclosure, I am not invested in the answer. It just happens to be the one that has always popped off my head.
