I was having breakfast around nine this morning at the Blue Plate Diner in Huntsville with a friend and fellow bama alum and Pearl walked in with I think Chuck Person (not sure exactly what he looks like but the guy was big!) and a young I'm guessing recruit. About a half hour later another young guy came in and joined them.
Not sure who they were, and wondering if they were HS recruits why they weren't in school. Not sure of any D1 players in our area this year, but could have been lower classmen I guess. Or maybe Juco players.
When we were leaving I walked over and asked, "Excuse me, but are you Mark Gottfried?" Pearl looked shocked and then smiled, Persons (?) laughed out loud. Pearl was very nice. I left him with a handshake and a "Roll Tide."
Any one know of any D1 BB recruits up here?
