We’re in great position to finish in 4th place. We have already beaten Ole Miss in Oxford and get them in Tuscaloosa in a few weeks. Ole Miss also still has to play South Carolina, LSU, and Tennessee. We’ll thankfully be finished with those 3 after this weekend. We were picked 5th in the preseason coaches poll. I think we’ll exceed that.

I think the ultimate issue will come down to the meeting February 26th in Tuscaloosa between Ole Miss and Alabama. Ole Miss presently sits in front of us with a 5-2 mark, but they still have South Carolina, Arkansas, Tennessee and LSU in front of them and we only have South Carolina. There is no way that Alabama overtakes Tennessee, LSU or South Carolina.

Our schedule is favorable from her on out, as to Ole Miss. As far as schedules go, we have the tie breaker with Arkansas, but Arkansas has a more favorable schedule than we have.

I wholeheartedly agree. Good win against Arky, but 85% of scoring returning, several transfer portals, 10 years on the job, Bama should be better than 5-6 in the conference. Roll Tide !
