SEC Tournament question

I believe I saw 20%-25% somewhere.

thanks. Looking to buy some tickets but I don’t think they’re available yet. Barring a collapse, the 1 seed plays Friday at Noon, making it feasible to plan a trip as opposed to sweating out the Wednesday and Thursday results like we normally have to do lol

A big part of getting tickets will be the success of UK. It is my understanding that if UK is there the streets are blue. Once they are eliminated it's a ghost town by comparison.

I attended the last “small venue” tournament in 1991 or thereabouts. It was at Vanderbilt. Alabama beat Tennessee in the finals. Kentucky was on probation and not playing yet there was a very sizable Kentucky contingent in attendance. Those people love basketball.

A buddy of mine called the SEC ticket office and was told the schools should get their ticket allotment this week, so hopefully we will know something soon. They did not mention attendance #s.

I was there. It is a terrible place to watch a game, especially several games for a tournament. I watched it one year at the Pyramid in Memphis.

I think it was back in 1999 when Auburn beat Arkansas for the title, I went to the final game in Atlanta. I sat in the Alabama section for the final game and it was me and one other and that was it. There may have been 6,000 or 7,000 in the Georgia Dome for the final game. Of course that was before Auburn downsized their home Arena to house ten fans.

Because America is woke now and we’re weak ass bit$hes

What the heck are you talking about? They're talking about canceling tournaments to avoid all the contact issues that might mean someone has to sit out the ncaa tournament. I wouldn't say wanting to play in the ncaa tournament makes someone a woke b*tch
