i have no answer why we have had so many slow starts the last third of the season, but there is no quit in this team

unlike most of our other teams, even when this team gets way down, you still have a feeling they can come back and win. i loved our all around effort today. when the shots started falling it became obvious we were gonna whip that bunch

Yes always great effort. The problem is teams we play in the tournament won’t allow us to come back. See Oklahoma and Arkansas. We need to figure out the slow starts QUICK.

The first half I thought the team was going to mail it in. Then they started to play better towards the end of the first half. The second half speaks for it self.

I wasn't able to watch the game live yesterday and I even avoided this board until later in the day. On page 1 of the game thread you would have thought Q wasn't qualified to lead a JV girl's team. Of course by page 2 he was a good player again.

Yea nothing shows a lack of actual basketball knowledge that just immediately saying we aren’t playing hard lol. And to be clear, I have little bball knowledge

Just chalk it up to a lot of folks not understanding that basketball is a game of runs. For some strange reason a lot of folks on this board expect literal perfection on every possession. This isn't football like we're used to seeing domination from start to finish. It just doesn't work like that, and when it does, it's just one of those nights, like the LSU game earlier this year.
