Well Saban and the BCS chair from last year sparing over playoff v bowls this week. Thoughts? Besides the cited figure about attendance down at bowls yet again last year, college football in general was down...worst since 2003.

Anyone remember for years thru 70s you would only get 2-3 games on TV max because NCAA felt TV pulled from attendance at games.
