Don't know about the first 5 on the floor but I want JD, Quinerly, Shack, Ellis and Gurley on the court as much as possible. We will win with fast paced guard play and good shooting. Keon will be the Herb of this years team, best overall player playing at both ends. Gurley is 6'8 so he can cover a big but still need an inside presence. Don't know if that's Frenchy, Bediako (down the road) or Ambrose Hilton. I love the way Gary plays but don't think at 6'6 he can check a big man.
I'd go:
JQ 6'1 (Damn good off the bounce, tough to contain on the dribble, if we had to start him or JD I'd say start JQ and bring freshman in early off the bench)
Shack 6'3 (need him to spot up and stroke and eliminate out of control drives)
Keon Ellis 6'6 (coach says he may be best 2 way player in SEC, need his D and 3s)
Gurley 6'8 (can flat out shoot)
Bediako 7'0 (just a big body to start the game to make sure we don't get abused down low and protect the rim. Preferable less fouling than Rojas. coach says he will erase a lot of defensive mistakes at the rim)
That leaves JD to come in for JQ or Shack or even one of our big guys and go small ball. Gary should be able to play some 3 or 4. He plays hard all the time and is a very good defender. Miles, Ambrose-Hilton, and Frenchy may find their way into some time. If I recall right Burnett messed up his knee and will miss this year so that sucks. I think they way we run we need 8-9 guys who can play. Zero inside info, just from what I've read and gut feelings.
