Watching the games and the post game shows made me wonder as a coach what is more important ..Xs and Os or being able to manage people.
I think Kerr's greatest strength was getting all the players to buy into one goal. Prior to the season he sell's Iguodola on coming off the bench. He had been a starter his entire career and an all star. Then he not only benches Bogus but Bogus gets no minutes ...and Iggy goes to a starting role.
Obvious strong with Xs and Os since that is why he brought in Iggy.
Plenty of lessons our teams can learn from their example of playing for the name on the front and not the one on the back.
Took Guts for the owner's to replace Jackson but obvious they made the right call.
