passed away after a battle with cancer. I am sure Biggrham and others from Mobile knew Tate. I remember him from when he was a Coach at Davidson and Murphy .... umpiring etc.... remember him being a driver pulling our Mardi Gras floats.
I have attached a link and it includes a letter written to him by a former player .... it is long but WOW ... not only well written but he is able to share what many of us feel about our old coaches.
