Tchikou

Has he actually had a bad attitude? Every time I see him on the bench he’s standing up clapping, cheering on his teammates, engaged in the huddled.
Is it as simple as he’s just not that good? I can’t imagine that. Put him at the 5 and allow him to play outside. Either the opposing team will take their big out of the lane or leave him open to do what he apparently is skilled at doing, which is shooting for a big man.

I’ve not heard of any attitude issues. Sounds like his recovery was slow and now he just not as good as the guys playing. We need our “best backcourt in the nation”, which is far from true, to start playing like an above average backcourt. Way too many turnovers, poor shot selection, and lapses on D.

I didn’t say he had a bad attitude. But obviously he’s changing his. He said it, not me. Maybe he’s been sour that he wasn’t playing and he’s changed the way he’s thinking and going about things.

Got it. Maybe I'm missing where he said he's changing his attitude. Either way, good to see he seems to be staying positive. I can't fathom why he isn't seeing any minutes.

He said “NOW I just want to get better and be a great teammate.” NOW….meaning he wasn’t doing that before. He was probably focusing on him and/other things, like the fact that he wasn’t playing. And NOW he isn’t.

Like the time he re injured his leg playing in that rap league without asking his coaches or injury staff and getting hurt… to me that screams I trust you to make right decisions … how can I trust you on the court … maybe to hard but old school still works

Yes I agree that was a terrible decision and I think it put him in the dog house for a while.

I was extremely excited about him but… he’s not very good guys. I think we have to swallow that pill. Team could desperately use a floor spreader at the 4 or 5 that can knock down shots. If he could do that he would absolutely be logging major minutes

I refuse to believe this kid isn't any good. 31 offers from teams like USC, UCLA, KU, Baylor, OkSt., Arky, etc. You tell me his injury is hampering him or Oat's hates his attitude and I might buy that but the kid doesn't have to be Joel Embid to steal minutes from our current line-up of bigs.
