Texas A&M

Is dang impressive. I knew what they did the second half against us wasn’t a fluke and they’ve been on fire ever since. Should be in the tournament. They play extremely hard every play.
If they’re not in the tournament that’s insane. Committee needs to use a little common sense.

It would be one of the biggest travesties in March Madness history if they don't get selected.

according to Lunardi they have to win tomorrow and get the automatic bid. Can’t wrap my mind around it. Surely he’s wrong in this case. They have to be in

I have seen them listed in some bracketology sites. Looks like we get 7 teams in the tourney.

Did not get in due to strength of schedule. Non conference schedule was weak. It is very simple.

Richmond winning is likely what kept them out. It’s a shame because they playing some really good basketball right now and looks like a team no one wants to play.

The committee showed them as the 4th team out…
That doesn’t make sense to me. I get all the new metrics that are being used, but no way can you look at them and not think that’s a tournament team.

Years ago your last 10 games would be taken into consideration, now it’s like they don’t even consider that when seeding teams.

It’s very weird because of how well they’re playing of late, but the committee has shown they value strength of schedule and overall body of work. They played no one in the non conference. What many of our fans don’t get is that even the mid-major games we played throughout the non-conference were legit teams and many of them are on the bracket today. I do agree with you they should be in though…

Yea I’m with you.. I’m not one that thinks the last 10 should be weighted heavier than the rest but it seems especially like the last 2 weeks the field is essentially set outside of a couple teams and they wait to see if any bids get stolen… if TAM had reeled off their recent set of wins back in January they would have been firmly in headed into February and at that point it’s hard to fall out… slightly flawed system but not going to cry too much about teams 65-70

I’m disappointed for them. The SEC is supposed to be a well respected league and if that league said ACC, they would have found their way in.

The Aggie’s ran roughshod through a gauntlet of good teams.

And they passed the eye test

I haven't looked at their entire non-conference schedule, but I know they beat Notre Dame and the Irish received an at-large bid.
