Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, which is owned by pharmaceutical giant Pfizer, is being sued over the death of former University of Alabama Athletics Director Mal Moore.
The suit, filed in Alabama on March 30, claims Moore suffered "severe and debilitating injury to his pulmonary system, resulting in his slow and painful death," due to taking the drug amiodarone (the generic name for Cordarone), which was manufactured and marketed by Wyeth.
