First, we must get over the fact that we are playing in the Rose Bowl and learn that we belong in the Rose Bowl. We cannot get caught in the moment.
Second, Michigan’s Offense starts with Coram. We have to take away Michigan’s running game, with no more than seven in the box. Michigan relies on Coram to open the passing game. If we make Michigan pass we must be able to defend the receivers one on one. We have better DB’s than Michigan has receivers; however McCarthy is a next level talent at QB. He can pass when he needs to pass.
Michigan will try to out muscle Alabama and I expect Michigan will try todo what Auburn did.
Third, Jalen must play within Jalen’s ability. If Jalen tries to be superman he will,are mistakes. If Jalen tries tone Jalen, we will be playing on Jan.8, and there will be. Rose Bowl trophy, in our hardware,with an MVP trophy in Jalen’s room.
Michigan will only be the fourth best team we have played this year, so if we avoid stupid untimely penalties, we win this game. Yes, I believe that Georgia, Texas, LSU and possibly Tennessee would all beat Michigan.
