i sent out 5 private messages yesterday to friends about some things going on from several post in a certain thread-- by the time i sent them out and went back to that thread-- they had all been deleted. completely taken down. i know a poster can edit, but can a poster make post completely disappear like they were never on the board.

maybe i am confused
