What if this coaching staff actually did a good job coaching this team? One could argue based on talent that this team grossly under performed?
What if the OL actually played great? Alabama has not had a great OL in 3 years?
What if Bama had a great DL? Alabama has not recruited elite DL's in quite a few years.
What if game prep had this team ready to play most Saturday's? Bama came ready to play very few times this season?
What if in game play calling and half time adjustments were good? Most games both categories were suspect at best?
What if this team did deserve to be in the playoffs? And it does not by the way.
What if this was a physical Alabama team? And it is not.
Bottom line? Coaching staff did a C job at best. There is enough talent on this team to be a contender? Yet the coaches could not even get them in a 12 team playoff. The team was fun to watch about 3 times this year.
For me, this failure of a season is on the coaching staff first. Players leave a lot to be desired also as far as effort and attitude?
