I love Herb--Everybody loves Herb, but he needs to sit until he is well. He is hurting us.
I know we have to have him to go very far, but he is not even playing great defense now.
Good win for the Tide-- South Carolina played great. JQ had a couple of bad turnovers
but had several big baskets. JP played like he needs too. Primo and JQ have got to be
on the floor. We have just lost some of our confidence and need to get it back quickly.

Agree, I said if Bama couldn't beat SC today and UGA Saturday without Herb then they don't deserve to win. Bama could have rested him for a week and half and got him back for TA&M. Truthfully should been able to rest him for 2 weeks because Vandy is after TA&M, you might drop the A&M game without him but should have been able to get him a couple weeks rest and back for the Arkansas game where they need a healthy Herb to win.

Anyone notice how the scoring picks up when Herb is not on the floor? Our passing needs to be crisper and players need to learn to meet the ball, not just let it come to you. Rojas (aka "bull in a China shop") had some hits and misses tonight, but he came through in the clutch. And for the life of me, I cannot understand why our players keep getting charging fouls when they drive. There is usually one or more players just standing there and they run right over them. smh

We can't beat anyone off the dribble, so we are trying a new technique, just run over them.

I'm glad that we had the stretch where we were winning by large margins. We are back to turning the ball over, shooting poorly ,and I am afraid the rest of the season may be that way. My BP will be up. We did shoot FT's well tonight. 17-20. That's a plus. Keep working.

Any conference win on the road is huge. This isn't the same team that they were 4 weeks ago. Health and chemistry has been affected with guys being asked to play a wide variety of roles. Important to not only get healthy but to have a few games to gel at the end of the season.

I'll take an ugly win over a pretty loss. Shooting 38% from the field is bad, 85% from the line saved us. Agree Herb needs a few games off even if we drop a game. We're locked in the tourney and will be a good seed no matter what. Even if we drop a few and go down to a 4-5 seed a healthy Herb is essential to make a real run.
Didn't realize how much we struggle to beat guys off the dribble in the half court with Herb nowhere close to normal. JQ next best option. Primo and Shack need to be catch and shooters. When Shack gets the 1-3 fast break going I run my back porch to see if I can catch the ball after it's swatted out of the arena. He plays hard but out of control on the break. Bruner really had a nice little fit in our offense, hope we can get him back the way he was. Need Reese and Rojas to give us quality minutes when we put them in. Both were important last night. Love this team and what coach has done this year. We are in first place, not on probation, and life is good.

I'm sorry but watching Rojas play is torture. He does things that disturb me.
CNO just needs to tell him to back off on offense and just rebound and defend. We are down to having to play him more minutes since Bruner has been out. Reese and Rojas is really all we have left except maybe Hylton that can defend in the paint since Gary 6'6" got hurt. Rojas will continue to get minutes because he has a high motor, rebounds and defends well.

I've been trying to figure out if Ambrose Hylton is really just not capable of playing basketball for us when we are playing Jones hurt, Bruner been hurt, Gary now hurt. I don't keep up with these new guys much until I learn their game by them getting on the court for us. Someone who knows maybe tell us why he's not capable of getting minutes in our current state.

I would really be down for just about any combination of player rotation that keeps herb out until we prove that playing 4.5 guys is best.

I agree. Doesn’t make any sense to me that he can’t find minutes over Rojas
