This was a very hard fought game that Alabama ultimately pulled away when it needed to in the final 10 minutes. They couldn’t hit a shot if their lives depended on it, but Noah Clowney and Brandon Miller showed up and carried the team in crunch time. Miller finished with 20 and 12 reb and Clowney finished with 19 and combined 6/12 from 3.

Alabama had 15 turnovers, Missouri hit a ridiculous 3 at the end of the half, and scored 18 points off those turnovers, but Alabama persevered like they always do.

The game was won in the paint where Alabama dominated. Shooting 20/30 from the paint, out rebounding Missouri 40-25, and outscoring Missouri 40-30 in the paint. Also, Alabama’s paint defense held Missouri to shoot 16/43 from 2 which is their specialty.

Mark Sears, Jahvon Quinerly, and Rylan Griffen combined for 1/14 from 3 as their struggles continue from deep. They have to get going if Alabama wants to make a deep run. As I’m typing this, it looks like Alabama will face Texas A&M tomorrow in the championship game. A chance to avenge a loss from this season. A season where Alabama set a new program record with 28 wins.

I had hoped someone else would have taken care of A&M for us. They aren't a great team but they are a matchup nightmare for an Oats team. And a team/coach that has owned Oats in every meeting. To beat them we need all of our guards playing their best. Not sure if they are up for that right now.

Sadly, the game may come down to how the officials call the game. If they let A&M play rugby then we likely lose ugly. If they call it tight, at least early in the game, then we'll be able to get something of a rhythm going and maybe pull past them.

Thought we were 1-1 against A&M which does not constitute being “owned in every meeting.” Am I missing something?

Actually TideFever, I was hoping A&M would take care of Vandy so we'd have a chance to redeem our loss at the end of the regular.

This is what tournament games are for, and the A&M game should be a war. I'm sure A&M ain't going to back down, and championship teams don't either. Let'm play rugby, and we'll need to play a Saban-like physical game from start to finish. (and hope we hit some three'sBig SmileGo kill yourself

Let's go kick some Aggie ass tomorrow! Roll Tide, Roll! As you may be able to tell, I'm kind of amped.

The officials have certainly let them play and I expect they will Sunday
