In a game where Alabama shot 7/29 from 3 in the first half, it wasn’t ever close again after about 12 minutes into the game. While going 7/29 from 3 in the first half, they went 11-12 from inside the arc. They finished 15/48, which is the worst % they’ve shot all year, and still scored 99 points on only 10/10 from the line.

Guys are stepping up every game for Alabama. Nelson was in foul trouble and only had 2 points, so Jarin Stevenson stepped in with 14. Wague had a solid game as well. It was a little bit of everyone tonight, including the new sscholarship player Kai Spears who was on a 100 point/40 min pace!!

This was Alabama’s best defensive performance of the season, turning over Miss St 17 times on 13 steals. They also scored 27 points off those 17 takeaways. This group plays really hard every night. The results will not always be the same, but this was similar to the beatdown Alabama gave Vandy and UGA last year. Just never felt close.

Next up Alabama travels to Auburn, in a game that I’m sure most put on the calendar as a scheduled loss. To be 8-1 halfway through conference play is dang good.
