Alabama dominated this game from the tip and pulled away late. You could tell the fire in this team's eyes and how bad they wanted to avenge one of their 5 losses on the season. Alabama's defense was suffocating and held a very aggressive A&M backcourt to below 30% from the field and forced 13 turnovers as well.

Brandon Miller won SECT Most Outstanding Player and rightfully so scoring 23 points and grabbing 12 boards for his second straight double double. He is the greatest player in Alabama basketball program history and it may not be close. Jahvon Quinerly got the team going again early on with a couple threes and finished with 22 points. Charles Bediako had arguably his best game of his career with 12 points, 13 boards, and 5 blocks against a tough frontline. Also, Rylan Griffen seemed to have gotten his mojo back hitting a couple threes and was a big playmaker as well.

What can you say about this team? It is the best team Alabama has ever had winning their record 29th game and will get the first #1 seed in program history as well. This team is peaking at the right time, and with their defense, they'll go really far. I look forward to watching this team next weekend in Birmingham and hopefully beyond!

Yes, what Jordan Harper said......and I do agree that B. Miller is the best Alabama basketball player I've seen. And I started watching Bama basketball in the late 60's. And a punctuation, as Ducky says, Roll! Tide! Roll!

This game I hope is a show piece of what is to come in the next hopefully six games. Greatest team I have ever watched at Bama including the 75 team with Douglas, Dunn.
Bama may not win this NCAA tourney because there are some other very good teams out there. Anything less than a final 8 to final 4 though would be dis-appointing.

The fast start and managing to hold a 10 point lead was huge. Then when we had another burst moment to get to 20 it was over.

Bediako is about as important to this team as any other player but maybe Miller. When word first got out that he had hurt a knee a few weeks ago I was ready to go doom and gloom on our post season hopes. We would all like it if he could get a bit more aggressive with the ball but he's someone most teams can't really counter without also exposing something else.

I thought the real key to this game was fouls. We had a few guys get some cheap ones but A&M only got 24 free throws. Add to that we destroyed them on the boards for most of the game and A&M couldn't match us today.

We need to bottle what we brought today and build on it for 6 more games.

Bama handled a really good backcourt…

That won the tourney and can look back with pride on the entire season.

Coach Oats can point to some things they can do better too.

Lastly, I agree with everything you said above about this team
