Received a lot of praise coming in as a 5 star transfer and was huge in the win at Houston. Finished the season 8th in minutes while scoring 5.5 pts per game.

very good on defense. i hope he hangs around a couple more years.
I think the wrist injury set him back more than we probably realize, especially with his shooting. We also have to remember he was coming into this season off the ACL injury. Hopefully next season he can stay fully healthy and we can see his full potential.
We need him. If anything for stability and experience. He can play
Had some bad injury luck and this was his only first full year playing. We don’t win 3-4 games without him for sure. His wrist injury really hindered him for most of the season. If he can have a full, normal off-season then I think he will flourish next season.
I don't disagree. My concern would be that he wants to look elsewhere. He'd have to sit out though right?
I guess the most frustrating thing for me about the portal is there is absolutely no logic or reasoning to any of it. I am envious of the 8 seniors at SDSU but tell me how on earth a coach gets himself in position to have more than 4 seniors on his team at any time? Recruit 2 and 3 star guys and shower them with PT?

Exactly. The natural thought is that a lesser talented upper classman is going to have the intangibles to help will a team to victory but unless you hit the portal and go find 6 seniors every year I guess your $#!+ out of luck.
Look, Nimari did a lot of good things for us, but he’s not a good enough scorer to man a guard spot for Oats. Outside of a few 3s, he’s bad on offense.

yea, injuries held him back a little but i expected more from him.
