There are certainly more complex reasons for that collapse and other failings this year (such as poor defensive communication on screens and simply not looking where you pass the ball before you jump) but it really boils down to us depending totally on the 3 (near the top in America on attempts) and being awful at shooting it (near the bottom in % made).

How about that long pass he threw to JD who wasn't looking? Then he loses the ball while dribbling on back-to-back possessions! He can transition from a star player to a mental case in the blink of an eye.
You will watch. When the brackets come out on Sunday, you will do what we all will do. And that convince ourselves that this team might be able to make a run if things break the right way.
I really don’t think there are the super elite teams this year… Kentucky is probably my pick to win if all but I think the door is wide ass open for some of the 3-5 seed teams to win it. Maybe even lower seed than that.
I don’t anticipate it being us but a tournament with this much parity does give me hope in a money draw. A ton of good teams that have flaws. I’ll probably pick us to lose round 1 but sweet 16 wouldn’t shock me
I wish we had last year’s team this year. The field looks weaker up top than it has in some time.
