i would like to see gary get some quality minutes. got a nba body and can leap.
I started to pose this question last night regarding Gary: given his athletisicm could he take on the Herb Jones role next season of "lunch pale" type guy?
Agree, he certainly looks the part. When I saw him hit the court I was like "who is this guy and why isn't he playing more".
Reese looked like a different ball player last night. We just need to hold off trying to judge these guys after one bad ball game. Reese fits perfectly in CNO system, and like Oats said in the presser he played some great defense last night on the Providence big man.
Ellis was sick the game before. but was not going to be asked to play much against Providence. Played around 10 minutes I believe
Reese has earned every last syllable of his criticisms. Now if he continues to contribute as he did against Providence, then he's well on his way to being out of the fan dog house. He played great defense against Wilson and he even passed the ball to a teammate.
I don’t think Gary is 100% comfortable after his injury last year. Takes some people longer to get over that mental hurdle than others.
I think Gary just missed so much of the preseason practice that he is trying to catch up. I think he will be a major contributor when SEC play begins. Large body and great hustle.
